Our clinical space is over 3700 square feet. We have nine examination rooms, two of which are in our newly renovated research facility, full size pulmonary function machines, a conference room, clinical research office and dedicated personnel. There is high speed broadband access throughout
In order to ensure that research materials are safely stored, keys for storage closets are restricted to the office's professional personnel. In the office, we also have the capability for methacholine challenge, fiberoptic laryngoscopy, EKG, phlebotomy and tympanometry. We have complete access to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital's facilities, including the bronchoscopy suite. As appropriate we may use the University's or an outside institutional review board for purely out-patient studies.
Our staff includes dedicated registered nurses and other personnel to facilitate study subject evaluations. Staff members participate in a variety of continuing education activities so they can improve their clinical and research skills. Our facility permits adding additional personnel, as specific research projects warrant.
